While I have dabbled in yoga and mindfulness on and off over the years I have consistently struggled with knowing what to focus on during my practice and how to strengthen my mind/body connection. At 40 years old and 5 months pregnant with my first child, I decided now is a perfect time to solicit Rachel’s help in this area. My time with her has inspired me during this critical time to think about and work on my body in a more meaningful way.

Rachel is equally knowledgeable about the science and philosophy of yoga and mindfulness and is able to clearly communicate her knowledge in a way that is accessible. She is keenly sensitive to my unique needs and thoughtfully creates and adjusts her sessions accordingly. Rachel’s method is thoroughly organized yet flexible, deeply comforting yet challenging, and above all full of heart. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in search of guidance in developing a strong and sustainable mind/body connection.

As a result of the breathing exercise I surprisingly felt so much more relaxed, and as weird as this may sound, I didn’t want to feel relaxed; I wanted to go back to being angry, but the breathing exercise helped so much that I just couldn’t.
